FIVE LAWS FOR SUCCESS

FIVE LAWS FOR SUCCESS
When you do more than is expected of you
Or in other ways “go the second mile” (Matthew 5:41)
You develop talents and abilities
And win from others an approving smile.

The “second mile” is your own idea.
Imagination, resourcefulness, creativity you can use.
If you give your services a “gift-wrap”
The benefits are so many you will not lose!

"Don’t wait to be commanded in all things” (D&C 58:26)
Be a “self-starter” with a will of your own.
See what needs to be done and do it:
If necessary,,do it alone.

God said, “Be engaged in many good causes
And do many things of your own free will
And bring to pass much righteousness
And my purposes for you fulfil.” (D&C 58:27)

The greatest reward for the work you do
Is not the wages that are paid to you. (John Ruskin)
It’s the improved personality and character
The experience can develop in you.

“It is impossible for a man to be saved in ignorance”. (D&C131:6)
Was a statement made by God.
"Seek knowledge out of the best books” (D&C 88:118)
From wise men, at home and abroad.

“If a person, by his diligence,
Gains more intelligence than another,
In the next life he’ll have more advantage
Than will have his less diligent brother.” (D&C 131:19)

Our purpose in coming to this life
Is to become all that we can be,
To develop talents and abilities that enable us
To enjoy all the creations of God that we can see.

So heed the laws of cause and effect:
"As you sow, so shall you reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
“Sow sparingly - and sparingly also you shall reap.
Sow bountifully – and bountifully also you shall reap”. (II Corinthians 9:6)
