TOLERANCE 2

TOLERANCE
Tolerance is a virtue that Jesus taught.
Its many benefits should be eagerly sought.

It ignores the incompetent and pitiful
And looks for the positive and beautiful.

Tolerance is the blessed and happy alternative
To the selfish, unhappy, fault-finding way
Of criticizing the actions and performance of others
And every thing that they do and say.

Tolerance contributes to happiness.
Intolerance is an obstacle to happiness.

The practice of tolerance is an act of kindness
And kindness always brings happiness.

Show unto others the tolerance that you
Would like to have others show unto you.

“Let thy bowels be full of charity to all men.......
And let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly, then
Thy confidence shall wax strong in the presence of God.
The Holy Ghost shall be thy companion”, at home and abroad.(D&C 121:45)

If tolerance becomes your habitual way
It will bless your activities every day.

Tolerance is true humility.
It is also true nobility.
