OBEDIENCE

OBEDIENCE
Your life is made easier by habits of obedience
To laws that protect your health and life
And property that brings you happiness
And avoids contentions, troubles and strife.

Doing what you are told to do by others
Is the first step in “going the second mile”
Where you develop personality and character traits
That enrich your life and make your life worthwhile.

Good grades are given for obedience in schools.
In business people are fired for breaking the rules.
Obedience to laws is the positive way
To enjoy association with others every day.

Obedience is the basis of cooperation.
Cooperation is the way to get things done.
Obedient cooperation is a happy experience.
Cooperation is rewarding for everyone.

Obedience to parents and laws retains freedom.
Freedom from inevitable consequences of:
Unwise choices that cause you to fail.
Law breaking habits that send you to jail.

Substance addictions that destroy your health.
Covetousness that brings debt, and wastes your wealth.
Addictions that make you a helpless slave.
Addictions that put you in a premature grave.

If we don’t obey the lessons of history
We’ll repeat the mistakes of history.
By obedience, the knowledge of others we gain
And don’t need to “invent the wheel” again.

When all else fails, “Read the Instructions”!
By doing what they tell you to do
You will get the job done to your satisfaction
With less time and effort and frustration to you.

You may disregard laws of consequences
But those consequences will never disregard you.
Whichever you choose, the good or the bad,
The good or bad consequences will come to you.
