ENTHUSIASM

ENTHUSIASM
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” (Proverbs 17:22)
The wisdom of Solomon says.
That’s how enthusiasm is good for the health
And makes healthier happier days.

Billy Sunday said of his preaching
And the way he made people learn,
“I set myself on fire
And the people come to see me burn.”

Cultivate enthusiasm.
It will stimulate all your days
And bring success and happiness,
Give energy and help in many ways.

Enthusiasm is the spark that lights the fire
That enables athletes to run faster and jump higher.
It is what makes the difference between losing and winning.
It changes expressions from frowning to grinning.

Enthusiasm generates energy.
Enthusiasm keeps you young.
Enthusiasm prompts you to action.
It makes motivation flow from your tongue.

Enthusiasm does work in an effortless way.
Enthusiasm, like sunshine, makes brighter your day.
Enthusiasm makes interesting all that you do.
Enthusiasm attracts many friends to you.

Whenever or whatever you read with enthusiasm
Your comprehension and retention are greater.
The things you read become your knowledge
And stay with you much later.

The work you do with enthusiasm
Becomes attractive, gratifying and you get more done.
Enthusiasm makes some of the work you do
Almost as enjoyable as fun.

Enthusiasm brightens dreary days
With a glow from inner sunshine.
It helps you see opportunities
With rewards that are like real sunshine.

Your enthusiasm is contagious.
It makes you irresistible.
For a leader or a salesman
Enthusiasm is indispensable.

Enthusiasm changes apathy to interest.
It determines whether your succeed or fail.
Enthusiasm creates a desire in customers.
Enthusiasm closes a sale.

Enthusiasm is the catalyst
That changes “can’t” to “can do”.
When you give a task to someone,
He or she will smile and say “Thank you”!

When you look for a job put enthusiasm
In your words, your actions, your smile.
And when you work do so with enthusiasm
And “Go the second mile”!

The enthusiasm you show in your actions
Draws attention of employers and praise.
But better than that it frequently brings you
A promotion or gratifying raise.

When you’re drowsy or apathetic
Recall former enthusiasm you have known
And how it changed drudgery to stimulation
And rewarding accomplishments you have known.

Enthusiasm, like a smile, is always acceptable,
Understood in any language or tongue ,
Helpful at any age, but especially--
When you need something to keep you young.
